My name is Colm O'Loughlin, an enthusiastic and passionate designer, specialising in Graphic Design, Web Design and Logo Design. I am located in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland.

I recently graduated from the University of Ulster Jordanstown where I studied BSc (Hons) Interactive Multimedia Design. This course helped further develop my skills and knowledge in all aspects of design. It also introduced me to flash animation, 3d modeling, video editing, and sound editing. Programming was another area covered on the course, where I learnt the major programming languages in modern web design, rich internet applications, and animation.

At present I am studying for a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Queen's University Belfast, in ICT/Computing.

I have 2 years experience working as an Assistant Designer in a local print/design company, which has allowed me to build up an offline portfolio with a range of different print designs. This includes: menus, business cards, greeting cards, compliment slips, brochures, flyers posters, and branding.

Mediacious was established in 2005 as a freelance project to provide professional Graphic Design, Web Design and Logo Design at affordable prices. Being at University studying a demanding course, spare time for Mediacious was hard to find. However over the past 2 years I have gained a number of clients, who have really helped in getting Mediacious off the ground.
