By now you will already have a decent idea of which outdoor events you want to rock your socks off at this summer. As always, there's plenty to chose from in the UK alone, but make sure you consider Renaissance's Wild In The Country as it looks set to live up to its hedonistic name.
Tiga, Soulwax's Nite Versions, 2ManyDJs, Eric Prydz, Ricardo Villalobos, Francois K, Erol Alkan, Tiefscwarz, Mathew Jonson, Simian Mobile Disco, Justice and Luciano will all be present and correct, and that's before we get to the long-awaited, highly anticipated return of Sasha & Digweed and the much loved indie dancers Hot Chip. From classic techno legends to white-hot live acts, Wild In The Country is going to be one of the most essential outdoor, one-day bashes you'll find all summer.
And it gets better, as this week Renaissance have announced Underworld as yet another impressive headliner.
Like we said, Wild In The Country is set to be an unmissable event and a fitting way to celebrate 15 years in the game.

Chemical Brothers and Groove Armada head up the main stage, along with crossover merchants de jour, LCD Soundsystem. The Cream Arena boasts a host of talent for those of a boshier inclination, with Carl Cox, Eddie Halliwell and Marco V all putting in an appearance.
House heads will also have a lot to get excited about with Erick Morllo’s Subliminal stage, with the man himself, David Guetta, and a special appearance from The Swedish House Mafia.
As befits dance music’s present fumble with rock, live action will be the order of the day with Ladytron, Justice, The Black Ghosts, Freeform 5, and New Young Pony Club amongst the throng turning it up to 11.
Elsewhere, all bases are covered from electro to hard house, with everyone from Erol Alkan to the Tidy Boys rearing their heads. Meanwhile, rudeboys and gals are expected to be getting busy at Beatdown’s hip hop, breaks and drum & bass arena.

This year’s Miami conference saw the reappearance of the Bozak brand name, famous for having built the first commercially-produced DJ mixer, the CMA-10-2DL, and for being the mixer of choice of many clubs and DJs in the 70s, including Larry Levan at the Paradise Garage.
A new company, Analog Developments, has revived the Bozak name and has announced the launch of a new range of products based on the designs of the original Bozak mixers, the first being the ISO-X isolator, to be followed by a rotary mixer and EQ unit later in the year. The new range features the same analogue technology and use of discrete components that gave the original Bozak its much-loved warm sound and dynamic stereo imaging, though functionality has been updated to cater for the demands of today’s DJs and clubs.
The ISO-X, which is a user-selectable 3 or 4 band isolator, has already been in use at several major parties in Miami, with the likes of Louie Vega (pictured) and Bobby and Steve apparently drooling over the unit’s smooth control and natural sound.
We’re told that the ISO-X is expected to be shipping in early summer, but in the meantime you check for updates at www.bozak.com
